She only reads Devanagari. You want to say “I miss you” — and the cursor just blinks. Pick who and what below, and get a warm message, written the respectful way, ready to copy into WhatsApp.
Who are you writing to?
→ uses आप (aap), the respectful “you”.
What do you want to say?
English has one “you.” Hindi has two, and choosing wrong is the difference between warmth and rudeness: आप (aap) carries respect — it’s how you speak to anyone older — while तुम (tum) is for people your own age and below. And the verb bends to you, the speaker: a man says करता हूँ, a woman करती हूँ. Get those two things right and your Hindi instantly sounds like you were raised with it.
